About Dwoth, Calendope and Chibaku

Dwoth, Calendope and Chibaku are micro SaaS projects that help you to be productive in their own ways.

They are ideated and managed by Anthony Stephen Mendes & Aavin Ashta and developed for us by Parik.

Dwoth - the emoji journal

Dwoth is an emoji journal that lets you journal using emojis. This allows you to track every aspect of your day and write about it on the go, if need be.

Choose from 10 emoji and add context next to it; the timestamp is created when you create a new emoji which means that you can keep a track of what happened when.

Calendope - your non-intrusive social calendar

Calendope is a non-intrusive social calendar that lets you create a shareable calendar via a link. This lets you tell your family, friends, followers or colleagues how your day will be without syncing it to your actual calendar.

This is beneficial since you can convey your schedule to people without the need of sharing your private calendar.

Chibaku - one tap copy tool

Chibaku lets you add text to a board where you can copy it with a single click. This allows you to quickly copy text to your clipboard and then paste it wherever you may need.

This is as simple as it gets - you save a few seconds on copying text and it helps you resolve issues faster. With multi-select, you can copy multiple text boxes in one go for when you need to paste multiple pieces.

Why our projects are free to use

We started Dwoth, Calendope and Chibaku with monthly subscriptions. Over time it has been made obvious that the cost does not justify the daily utility for a subscription.

We contemplated on a one-time fee to access all features but we could not find a reliable payments processor or merchant of record that could handle everything for us well enough; since we live in India, our options are quite limited in this matter.

Therefore, we came to the conclusion that it made sense to let users access all features for free and support us with any amount they like.

In order to ensure we avoid misuse, we have limited the read/writes per minute so that our monthly bill does not skyrocket.

What happens in the future?

We are happy to keep things as they are with Dwoth, Calendope and Chibaku. Your monetary support will help us absorb the cost.

If we are to ever sell any of our micro SaaS projects, it will be with the mandatory clause that current registered users will have access to all features in perpetuity.

What's the end goal with this?

The three micro SaaS projects were started keeping our own issues in mind that we wanted to solve.

We have achieved that since it's out to the public; our goal was to generate revenue with it and use it to build and grow Uhtend - uhtend.com - an idea we are quite passionate about.

As it stands, these three projects do not take up a lot of resources so making them accessible with all features makes sense.

If you like what we do, feel free to support us. Every bit helps! You can enter any amount you like.
